The team at Hoof Print Construction is led by founder Gil Simmers. Gil has over 40 years’ experience in the construction industry including civil, commercial, residential and heavy timber structures. While he has always enjoyed the satisfaction of seeing a project from breaking ground to completion, his passion is horses. Hoof Print Construction was the perfect way to merge that passion with his professional expertise. 

Today, he and his wife own a 20-acre horse farm in Pittsboro, NC. When he’s not there spending time with his horses, there is no place he would rather be than helping a client build their equestrian dreams. Every site he builds is unique and truly a labor of love.
